Scandinavian Free Standing Wall Unit: "Ergo" by Blindheim
Featured here is an incredibly simple, yet profoundly beautiful, free standing wall unit. Called the “Ergo” modular wall unit, it was produced by Blindheim Mobelfabrikk, Norway c. 1960.
Setup takes less than two minutes and is essentially plug and play. No need to bust out the level and spend hours mounting this to the wall, praying everything holds up okay. Free standing is the way to go for sure!
It consists of two side rails, two regular depth shelves, one deep shelf, and a three drawer cabinet.
Each piece can be raised or lowered in height, as well as removed from the unit, giving you a ton of flexibility in how you want to display your decor and knick knacks.
Teak grain throughout with brass rods that serve as the connection to the rails.
Very good vintage condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
Dimensions: 80” H x 33” W x 16” D
