the Story behind Mid & Mod

I'd be lying if I said I've always had an appreciation for nice things. That's simply not true. 

For years, my wife and I furnished our apartments, and eventually, our first home with cheap furniture pieces from the Big Box stores. 

By the time I hit 30, enough was enough. We work hard. Save hard. By golly, it was time to start furnishing our place with nicer things.  

We bought our first mid century credenza and we were hooked.

We loved the lines. The look. The quality. 

We tend to specialize in higher end pieces from some of the periods most iconic designers and manufacturers: Knoll, Fritz Hansen, and Herman Miller to name a few. We have quickly made a name for ourselves as one of the best mid century modern furniture shops in Seattle.

We have bought and sold pieces all across the country and have a handful of shippers we work with to bring things in and sends things out. See something you like? We can get it to ya.
