Set of Six Moller Model 71 Chairs in Rosewood SOLD
Moller chairs are amongst the most coveted dining chairs by the Mid Century community. Known for superb craftsmanship and an attention to detail that is second to none.
This set of six Rosewood Moller #71 dining chairs were designed by Niels Moller for JL Moller in Denmark and are labeled as such. The patina on these chairs is out of this world with various shades of red, orange, and brown highlighting the chairs beautiful lines.
Be sure to note the joinery of the back pieces and the seamless look. You can't beat the dramatic curve of the backrest.
The seats retain their original upholstery which we aren't sure if they're naugahyde or leather. One chair has a small hole pictured about the size of a grain of rice on the seat. One back rest has a small veneer repair on the inside back that would likely not have been noticed had we not mentioned it. No breaks, cracks, or loose joints. Check out the pictures to see just how stunning the grain is on the beauties.
