A beautiful (and true mid century) swivel chair by Norwegian furniture company, Vatne Mobler. 

This cognac colored chair is a dream to sit in. Note the slightly angled back that provides the perfect lounging position.  The seat cushion just received new foam and is dacron wrapper to provide a comfortable sit for hours. 

The upholstery is original and was done by Del-Teet (a local Seattle company) in the mid 1900's. 

Note the gorgeous walnut wood leg base that provides a smooth swivel. 

Would look awesome in a living room, nursery, office, or bonus room. 

West elm sells a generic mass produced swivel chair similar to this that retails for $1,500 (after tax and freight charges) and is much more bland in my opinion. 

As is the case with any true mid century piece there are some signs of wear on the lower corners of the chair, I imagine from where it rubbed a wall or other furniture piece while swiveling. Nothing that immediately draws your attention or distracts from the chairs great lines and look.
