Pair of Teak Scissor Chairs by Dux *SOLD*
Can't beat the lines of the mid century classic Scissor Chair manufactured by Dux of Sweden. The origin of their name is obvious as the sculptural legs look like a pair of open scissors.
This solid teak wood pair is special as most examples were produced in walnut or beech wood.
All new danish rubber webbing ensures plenty of support for decades to come.
The aqua upholstery and foam is in excellent shape. The cushions are zippered so if you wanted to wash them or switch out for different colored covers, you'd have no issue.
Both chairs retain their "Dux" makers label on the underside of the chair, verifying these are true mid century classics and not cheap reproductions.
Minor bumps and bruises to the frame as expected with any 50+ year piece, but as you can see from the photos, they present very well and will be sure to serve not only as a functional piece of furniture, but a stunning piece of art for your space. If you felt so inclined, the frames could be lightly sanded and oiled to make them like-new.
