Truly a rare find. 

A black leather, safari, sling chair by Douglass Heaslett for Brown and Saltman. All original in fantastic condition with minimal cosmetic concerns considering it's 60+ years old. 

If you know anything about Mid Century furniture, or are a frequent Pinterest user, you know just how rare and special this chair is. Classic Mid Century lines. Tapered legs. And most important the original makers label still attached to the chair (see photo). 

The black leather is perfectly formed and not stretched out. The leather sling arms have a few imperfections on the leather, about the size of a grain or two of rice. Nothing major or that distracts from the chairs gorgeous aesthetic.
