The Mart Stam S34 chairs were the first cantilever chairs in furniture history. They were used for the first time in 1927 in Stuttgart Germany.

These chairs are in very good condition relative to their age, with only minor wear. The leather is still tight, no sagging or stretching. The seams are in tact, with no fraying or splitting. The chairs are marked on the bottom "Made in Italy" so you can rest assured these aren't cheap China knockoffs.
