Selig Z Chair
Poul Jensen designed this masterpiece for the Selig Manufacturing Company in the 1950s. One of the most iconic Danish wood designs. Sculptural, wide arms. Striking lines. An angled back. Rubber seat straps. NO visible screws. And original makers mark embedded in the frame. This chair really does have it all!
The upholstery is brand new. A tweed gray fabric on a 3" foam seat and 2" foam back, perfectly compliments the lines of the chair, without looking chunky or overwhelming (excuse the wrinkles in the fabric as the cushions were fresh out of the box when I took the pictures, steaming them out took care of the wrinkles).
The chairs itself is in phenomenal condition for being over 60 years old, with only minor age-appropriate markings. No significant blemishes that would deter you from a purchase. Check out the picture to get an idea of it's stellar quality.
Dimensions:
27" high in the back, 29" at the widest point of the arms & is 30" deep at the feet.
