This teak desk was designed by Peter Løvig Nielsen and produced by Hedensted Møbelfabrik in the mid 1950's.

The desk has a large writing surface with raised edges on the back and left side.

The front has three dovetailed drawers, with the top drawer featuring a lock and an interior sliding tray. 

The back of the desk is fully finished and need not be pushed up against a wall. In fact, doing so would be a travesty :) 

The rear  features a hidden (locking) liquor cabinet and a generous cubby space to display books, decor, and other knick knacks.
