Incredibly early, first generation George Nelson for Herman Miller Bench in the exceedingly rare 102” length. Benches of this size and magnitude have not been made since the 60’s, so sourcing this was has been incredibly rewarding.

Designed in 1946 and produced in six different lengths from 48” to 102” inches, the Nelson bench has was an instant classic.

This bench is all original featuring solid ebonized wood slats and legs. The patina to this 70 year old piece of furniture is so stinkin’ good. It could easibly be ebonized again to make it perfectly uniform, but we think that would be a tragedy to it’s stunning vintage vibe.

In excellent, original condition. This is truly a collectors dream come true. No knockoffs of this length have ever been produced so you can rest assure it is a true Nelson piece.
