Probably the most iconic (and most copied) chair to have ever existed, the Barcelona Chair. 

Featured here is a stunning example produced by Knoll c. 1980 in its original tangerine leather.

First, it’s important to note these are the stainless steel version of the chair, which is a significant upgrade over the standard chrome plated version. That means there is no concerns of the chairs rusting or pitting as would be the case with most vintage chairs in chrome.

The designer, Mies Van der Rohe, himself said that he would have originally designed the chairs in stainless steel had the technology existed when they were first created.

The leather seat cushion retains the buckles to secure it to the frame as well as it’s Knoll labels authenticating it as real deal. To purchase just a single Barcelona from Knoll in Stainless steel you’re looking at $9,200 per chair after shipping and/or tax.

As this chair is truly vintage, it will exhibit signs of wear to the frame and/or the cushions. Please note one back strap is missing, the function of the chair is not impacted and if you felt so inclined you could purchase one from various online stores. Look over the pictures carefully and you will have a great idea of how the chair will look in your living room or office.
