Rare Copper Production Warren Platner Armchair and Table 1969
Check out this incredibly rare Warren Platner for Knoll copper pairing. The series was created in 1966, but in 1969, for one year, they experimented with a Copper production run. There has never been a production of copper Platner pieces again, which means these pieces will only increase in scarcity.
Both the chair and the table retain their original plastic extrusion ring, providing a smooth bottom surface that protects your floors.
The chair features it’s original Knoll wool upholstery in good vintage condition showing expected signs of use. Nothing that requires immediate upholstery, but if you wanted new foam or a different color fabric we are happy to discuss reupholstery options.
The copper shows a beautiful patina and is certainly the most special part of this pairings iconic look.
Feel free to google “Copper Warren Platner” to see just how few examples have come to market compared to the much more common bronze and nickel variants.
