Oiled Walnut Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman by Herman Miller
We probably don't need to say much as the Eames 670 Chair and 671 Ottoman is arguably the most iconic chair of the mid century era.
The pictures do most of the talking showing the beautiful walnut graining and in some of the close ups you can see the very gentle patina and scratches to the seat/ottoman cushion (likely from the rivets on rear jean pockets, or maybe a small pet).
Overall the black leather is in excellent shape and buttery soft. No wear to the arms, headrest, or backrest as is common.
Herman Miller label on the bottom of the chair authenticate this as real deal dated 02/16. Walnut shells are in impeccable shape and excellent condition as noted.
Shock mounts are strong with no structural compromises or concerns. As good as it gets, unless you want to pay nearly $6000 for a new one.
