Hans Wegner CH-29 Chair x 4
This set of four chairs, model CH-29 also referred to as the Sawbuck chair, was designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl and Hansen. The organic frames are made from teak. Upholstery shows signs of use, but the padding is soft. No sewing required if you desired a new look, simply cut to shape and staple.
The CH-29's unusual construction makes it as sturdy as any traditional chair but with fewer parts. This design allows for the seat to be wider in the front, which along with the heavily curved back makes the chair extremely comfortable.
This set is in good vintage condition with normal signs of use. As it is solid wood, you could refinish if you felt so inclined, but we don't think that is necessary.
