The chairs frames are rock solid. No cracks or breaks to the wood. No loose joints. Grain shows wonderfully with no significant chips, scratches or dings. The caning shows a wonderful patina, telling a story that these chairs were well cared for and not abused. As expected, there are a few breaks to the caning, but the structural integrity is in no way compromised. Definitely does not require re-caning.
