Kay Bojesen's Monkey was created in 1951 and has been one of the most coveted pieces of mid century modern decor ever since.

We are super honored to offer this exceedingly rare size Large vintage monkey. A quick internet search will turn up multiple offerings for the Bojesen Monkey in small and medium sizes, but finding a vintage one in the Large size is next to impossible. Go ahead and search around.

Made of solid teak and limba wood, the arms, legs, head, hands, and feet are all adjustable allowing the monkey to be displayed in a variety of positions, to include hanging around the house on any type of ledge (window, sideboard, shelf, etc).

As this is a truly vintage piece, the monkey shows signs of use as noted in the photos. We love the patina and rich colors of the wood that help tell the story of this iconic piece.
