The wood has been, kiln-dried, polished and showcased for its intriguing texture and shape.

The redwood base can be unscrewed from the granite slab if you have a different material in mind for the base. Or if you wanted to mount the sculpture to the wall, the piece can easily be disassembled to make an incredible wall sculpture.
